Oliver Cowdery attempted to translate but failed because he did not study it out in his mind first. The New Jerusalem will be established as a place of safety. The righteous who are prepared need not fear.

The Lord teaches about the gifts of the Spirit, which are given for the benefit of those who love God. The land of Missouri is designated as the land of promise and the place of the city of Zion.
